Abis Studio buys Avid Unity

Abis Studio, ( www.abisstudio.ro) one of the most important postproduction studios in Romania has recently implemented together with Marcotec team the new centralized storage sistem developed by Avid. The system allows allows both video and ProTools editors fast access to the ingested media. The centralized storage brings users undoubted advantages:
-fast access to ingested media for all users in the same time
-cost and time savings due to removal of the VTRs to save the materials in the different stages of the workflow
-better usage of the storage. Users don't have to keep copy of media on every individual station
-integrated workflow which allows faster results

Users share a 8 TB storage with a bandwidth of 4GB/s.
